Valve terminal G 1/8", model series RE 46
Temperature range: -10°C to max. +50°C
Media: oiled and unoiled filtered compressed air
Operating pressure: 3 - 8 bar (0 - 8 bar for external air connection)
Control voltage: 24 V=
Voltage tolerance: ± 10 %
Power consumption: 1.3 W / solenoid
Protection class (VDE 0470/EN 60529): IP 65 (only when used with the appropriate connection plugs)
Version: with LED and protection circuit
Function: Up to 20 stations are controlled via a multi-pin connection cable. Each station is provided with a LED status indicator and a protection circuit. The terminal can always be equipped with valves of the model series KF46 and only one of 2 x 3/2-way, 1 x 5/2-way and 1 x 5/3-way valves are used for each station. All the connections can be accessed from the front side. All the valves are supplied compressed air (connection 1) from the front side. The venting in each vent duct (3+5) takes place via a G 3/8"-connection at the top and another at the front end (is sealed with plugs when delivered).
Venting of the pilot solenoids (82+84) takes place via 2 G 1/8"-connections at the top. The additional G 1/8" connections are closed ex-works using plugs. A pressure separation within the terminal, as well as the supply of compressed air from both sides, is possible. For the supply of external air to the valves, the pressure range is 0 to 8 bar.
Advantages: •Quick and easy connection, single wiring of valve not applicable for multi-pin or bus connection, •compact design, •universal use due to modular system, •LED status indicator and protection circuit as standard, •up to 20 stations (e.g. 40 x 3/2 way valve) controllable via a multi-pin connection cable, •protection category IP 65, •valves can be replaced without disassembly of the terminal, •for each station the following valves can be added on as an option: 2 x 3/2 way valve 1 x 5/2 way valve (mono-stable) 1 x 5/2 way valve (bi-stable) 1 x 5/3 way valve
valve assembly: The valves must be ordered separately. They are arranged as per their function. Higher order numbers (e.g. KF 46 534 HN) are assembled on the multi-pin connection, while lower order numbers (e.g. KF 46 310/2 RHN) are assembled away from it. Blind plates are assembled behind the valves away from the connection. The valve terminal is assembled completely and tested before being delivered. The connection cable is not included in the scope of supply and must be ordered separately.
